Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, this afternoon reaffirmed his support and further encouraged the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training to continue implementing the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Programme for 1.5 million youth or "TVET 1.5M." At the closing ceremony of the annual meeting of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training held at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet noted that "TVET 1.5M" is on the positive step. The Premier said as of Jan. 15, 2024, at least 27,000 youths from poor and vulnerable families had registered for the 478 courses of the "TVET 1.5M." "TVET 1.5M" was officially announced on Nov. 14, 2023 by Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet.
