The leaders of Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam held a trilateral working breakfast in Vientiane, Laos this morning, and agreed to further enhance the cooperation in all fields between the three neighbouring countries. On the occasion, H.E. Sonexay Siphandone, Prime Minister of the Laos, thanked Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia and H.E. Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister of Vietnam for attending the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits. This reflects the continued maintenance of traditional friendship and enhancement of cooperation between the three nations. The Prime Minister of Vietnam congratulated Cambodia on its numerous achievements under the leadership of Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet for more than a year and congratulated Cambodia on being selected to host the 20th Francophonie Summit in 2026. The three Heads of Government shared their experiences on the development of their respective countries and highlighted the importance of continuing contacts, as well as str engthening and expanding cooperation in all areas, including economic and investment, infrastructure connectivity, tourism, infrastructure, defence and security, as well as education and training.
