SEOUL, President Yoon Suk Yeol will hold a dinner meeting with the new leadership of the ruling People Power Party (PPP) next week, officials said Wednesday. The dinner will be held around Monday, with the attendance of new interim leader Hwang Woo-yea and other members of the emergency leadership committee, according to party and presidential officials. The committee is tasked with organizing a national convention to elect a new party leader following the PPP's crushing defeat in the April 10 parliamentary elections. Hwang plans to appoint the other members after the election of a new floor leader on Thursday.
