President Yoon Suk Yeol cast an early vote for next week's parliamentary elections in the southeastern port city of Busan on Friday, his office said. Two-day early voting for the April 10 elections kicked off earlier in the day, allowing voters to cast their ballots early at designated polling stations nationwide. Yoon visited a polling station in Busan together with some of his aides while on an official visit to the city. The elections will be critical in determining the fate of Yoon's agenda in the remaining three years of his single, five-year term as the ruling People Power Party seeks to regain control of the 300-member National Assembly, where the main opposition Democratic Party currently holds a majority. Yoon called on the nation Thursday to exercise their voting rights. Source: Yonhap News Agency
