GEORGE TOWN, UMNO leaders need to focus on policy struggle to bring benefit to the people said UMNO supreme council member Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz. Tengku Zafrul who is also the Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry said as leaders, they also need to try to make changes including throwing new ideas that can help UMNO to continue to remain relevant. "All UMNO leaders from the divisional to the national level need to play a role to show that this Malay party is still relevant in the eyes of the people," he said when officiating the 2024 Tanjong UMNO delegates meeting here today. Also present were Penang UMNO Liaison Committee chairman Datuk Musa Sheikh Fadzir and UMNO Tanjong division chief Datuk Jeffri Salim. Tengku Zafrul said it is the responsibility of party members to advise the leaders as the people are now evaluating UMNO.
