South Korean stocks traded lower late Wednesday morning following losses from technology and insurance shares. The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index had decreased 16.15 points, or 0.61 percent, to 2,633.25 as of 11:20 a.m. Top tech giant Samsung Electronics fell 0.95 percent, and No. 2 chipmaker SK hynix moved down 1.33 percent. Samsung Life Insurance moved down 2.3 percent, and Samsung Fire and Marine Insurance slid 2.31 percent. Hanwha Aerospace, on the other hand, gained 5.56 percent on the back of rising hope over the space industry, and Korea Aerospace Industries added 2.35 percent.
