President of the Senate, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, has expressed his congratulations to the fundraising campaign for the border infrastructure development, particularly in the northeastern provinces, focusing on border ring road, initiated by Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet. On his social media networks last night, Samdech Techo Hun Sen noted that the citizens have actively been participating in this fundraising campaign. 'Please, dear compatriots, take part in the campaign with whether small or big contributions, and help check whether or not the accusers participated,' he said. "[…] we want the Khmer nation to unite to protect our territory if we are afraid of losing our territory." 'Through this fund, we will see the true spirit of solidarity for national defence from all walks of life of our nation, especially we will be able to know whether or not those who have accused us of cutting four or more provinces to Vietnam join the fundraising campaign. If they are a fraid that the country would lose territory, it is a good time for them to join in building roads, schools, hospitals, water wells, and so on,' underlined Samdech Techo Hun Sen.
