SEOUL, National Security Adviser Chang Ho-jin and Indian Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar agreed Tuesday to further strengthen the two countries' cooperation in defense, supply chains and critical technologies, the presidential office said. During their meeting at the presidential office, the two noted their countries had active high-level exchanges on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic relations last year, including two summits between their leaders. They agreed that given the two countries' special strategic partnership, the two sides should further strengthen strategic communication and cooperation in the areas of defense and arms, establishing stable supply chains, critical technologies and infrastructure. They also agreed to jointly contribute to regional peace and stability, as well as a rules-based order, within the framework of South Korea's Indo-Pacific Strategy and India's vision for the Indo-Pacific.
