Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet this morning reassured that the Royal Government will continue to improve the health sector for the people.

‘Modernising and strengthening physical infrastructure at the hospitals will further increase the people’s confidence in the health sector. And the Royal Government is committed to further working on this,’ he underlined at the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of three new buildings in Calmette Hospital, a leading public hospital in Cambodia.

The Royal Government will continue to pay more attention to provide better health services to the people, he reaffirmed.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet added that the Royal Government always considers the health sector as a top priority and is now strengthening mechanisms to improve the healthcare services.

Currently, about 7.4 million people have received better healthcare services with the Royal Government’s support.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet also expressed the Royal Government’s comm
itment to further reduce the citizens’ spending on healthcare.
