A cruise ship named 'Seven Seas Explorer' with 726 multinational tourists on board, sailing under the Marshall Islands flag, docked at Sihanoukville Autonomous Port in Preah Sihanouk province this morning for a day-long visit in Cambodia. According to an immigration police officer, the tourists are of 29 nationalities and 373 of them are women. Besides, there are 548 crewmembers of 43 nationalities, including 111 women. Most of the visitors are American (483) followed by the Canadians (66) and the British (65), he pointed out, adding that six of the tourists continued their trip to Siem Reap cultural province to visit Angkor temples, while the rest visited cultural resorts, beaches and other tourist attractions in the Preah Sihanouk coastal province. Coming from Thailand, the cruise ship of 223.74 metres long, 31 metres wide and 7 metres deep will leave for Vietnam this evening, the immigration police officer said. Last week, three tourist vessels - Riviera, Aida Bella, and Sea Bourn Encore - bringing al ong over 3,600 multinational tourists and nearly 2,000 crewmembers in total, also paid a day-long visit to Cambodia via the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port.
