Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister H.E. SOK Chenda Sophea, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation received at the ministry on June 4 a farewell call by H.E. WANG Wentian, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Cambodia, upon his completion of tenure in Cambodia. According to a news release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, during the farewell meeting, H.E. Deputy Prime Minister SOK Chenda Sophea congratulated H.E. on the successful completion of his diplomatic mission in Cambodia. H.E. SOK Chenda Sophea highly valued the Ambassador's significant role in advancing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership of Cooperation, which contributes to the building of Cambodia-China Community with Shared Future. The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted that the conferment of the medal of 'The Royal Order of Sahametrei Grand Cross,' by Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, is a testament to the recognition f or the ambassador's active contribution to deepening Cambodia-China bilateral cooperation. H.E. Ambassador extended profound appreciation to the Royal Government of Cambodia for providing steadfast support during his mission in the Kingdom, and pledged to continuously contribute to the strengthening of bond of friendship between Cambodia and China even after the completion of his tour of duty.
