No More Cabinet Reshuffle, Says PM

Phnom Penh: Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet reaffirmed here this afternoon that there will be no more cabinet reshuffle.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the Premier clarified that any information circulating about another cabinet reshuffle in February is false. He made these remarks while presiding over the Closing Ceremony of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications’ meeting. The meeting aimed to review and assess the five-year (2020-2024) work achievements in digital transformation and to set new goals for the upcoming years.

The Prime Minister stated, “I would like to take this opportunity to announce that, there no more cabinet reshuffle. Please keep working as usual,” emphasizing the stability of the current government structure. He expressed skepticism about the rumors, questioning their validity by saying he, as the head of the Royal Government, was unaware of any such plans.

In addition, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet urged the public to refrain from compromising the nation’s cultural and spiritual values for the sake of online popularity. He also encouraged inter-ministries and competent authorities to intensify efforts against online frauds, highlighting the government’s commitment to maintaining integrity in the digital space.
