KG Mobility, formerly known as SsangYong Motor Co., said Thursday it has launched the Torres EVX Van, the first electric van vehicle model in South Korea. The Torres EVX Van is equipped with a 73.4kWh lithium iron phosphate blade battery and can travel 411 kilometers on a single charge. It allows a maximum output of 207 horsepower, boasts cargo space of 1,462 liters and can carry up to 300 kilograms of goods. The company said the model is optimal for both use during work on weekdays and for leisure on weekends. KG Mobility offers the Torres EVX Van with the longest warranty period for any domestic vehicle, 10 years or 1 million kilometers of travel.
