KOTA BHARU, Kelantan Darul Naim FC (KDNFC) has applied to use Stadium Sultan Ibrahim (SSI) as the home ground for its Super League match against Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) on Sept 22. Its president, Rozi Muhamad, said the application was officially submitted to the Malaysian Football League (MFL) today. 'We have reached a mutual agreement with JDT regarding the change of location due to the ongoing upgrades at Stadium Sultan Muhammad IV, which will continue until mid-October. Taking into account various factors, including the schedule released by MFL, we have chosen SSI as the home ground for KDNFC,' he said in a statement. Rozi said they are awaiting approval from MFL for the venue change, noting that KDNFC's next match is against Negeri Sembilan FC in Paroi on Sept 27. 'Since the locations for both matches are nearby, KDNFC agreed to shift the match to SSI as it would help reduce management costs. 'We are aware that this application is unusual, but we hope MFL will consider it, given the closure of Stad ium Sultan Muhammad IV,' he said. Source: BERNAMA News Agency
