SEOUL, Kakao Corp. on Thursday reported a net loss of 1.66 trillion won (US$1.24 billion) for the fourth quarter of 2023, staying in the red year-on-year. The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted an operating profit of 189.2 billion won in the October-December period, up 109 percent from a year earlier.
