Hanmi Science Co. on Friday reported its first-quarter net profit of 31.1 billion won (US$22.8 million), up 16.4 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 37.3 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 31.3 billion won a year ago. Revenue rose 9.9 percent to 320.2 billion won.
