Hankook and Company Co. on Friday reported a fourth-quarter net income of 23.9 billion won (US$18.1 million), swinging from a loss of 51 billion won a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 77.1 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 20.6 billion won a year ago. Sales rose 39.7 percent to 325.9 billion won.
