Hanjin Logistics Corp. said Wednesday it has signed an initial pact with a Mongolian company to explore business opportunities in the East Asian country's logistics market. Under the memorandum of understanding signed in Seoul on Tuesday, Hanjin Logistics and Mongolia's comprehensive logistics firm Tuushin LLC will jointly join an auction to win the local project to build a large-scale logistics center near Ulaanbaatar, the company said in a statement. Through Tuushin's local networks, Hanjin aims to provide its delivery services for local distribution companies and railway-based forwarding services in the capital of Ulaanbaatar, it said.
