EU Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Igor Driesmans has voiced his support for the 'knock on the door' mission of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) to Europe in June. The support was reaffirmed at a meeting here at the CDC's headquarters this morning with H.E. Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister, First Vice President of the CDC. The meeting discussed the preparations of concerned parties for the upcoming mission to promote Cambodia's investment opportunities and potential in two European countries - Germany and Spain. On the occasion, H.E. Deputy Prime Minister expressed Cambodia's readiness for investment diversification by attracting investors from all countries and potential companies, as well as using the "Plus-One Strategy" to increase the diversity of investment companies in Cambodia, especially to promote foreign direct investment in new industries such as electronics, automobiles, components, and food processing.
