Dongwon Systems Corp. on Friday reported its first-quarter net profit of 15.5 billion won (US$11.4 million), up 20 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 16.1 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 17.6 billion won a year ago. Sales fell 5.6 percent to 309.1 billion won.
