Hong Kong-based Sunwah Group has been seeking investment in some key fields such as technology, green economy, electrical vehicle (EV) charging stations, waste recycling project using high technology, and renewable energy. The intention was revealed by Dr. Jonathan Choi, Chairman of Sunwah Group while he was paying a courtesy call on H.E. SUN Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice President of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), at the CDC headquarters here late last week. Mr. Dr. Jonathan Choi also took the opportunity to invite H.E. SUN Chanthol to preside over Cambodia-Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Business Partnership Forum to be held tomorrow (April 9) with the participation of investors from about 70 companies. For his part, H.E. SUN Chanthol expressed welcome to the above-said investment plans and reassured the provision of the CDC's facilitation for all investment projects in the Kingdom. Earlier on the same day, the Cambodian DPM also received visiting Mr. Song Xiaoguo, Senior Counselor of Chongqing Municipal People's Government. On the occasion, H.E. SUN Chanthol mentioned investment cooperation in Cambodia's large infrastructure development projects such as Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway, Phnom Penh-Bavet Expressway project, Phnom Penh-Siem Reap-Poipet Expressway project to name a few.
