Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received here at the Peace Palace this afternoon visiting H.E. Wanmuhadnoor Matha, President of the National Assembly and Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Thailand. On the occasion, H.E. Wanmuhadnoor Matha expressed his deep appreciation for the ability and leadership of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, former Prime Minister, who has brought growth and development to Cambodia. He is confident that under the leadership of Samdech Thipadei, Cambodia will continue to develop strongly. He also lauded the relationship between the two countries' legislative bodies, saying that both sides will reach a memorandum of understanding on the exchange of visits and experience between parliamentary delegations. At the same time, he affirmed that the Thai parliament will continue to contribute to and support the strengthening and expansion of cooperation between the two nations. For his part, Samdech Thi padei Hun Manet highly valued the relationship and cooperation between Cambodia and Thailand, which has reached the level of "strategic partnership", an excellent relationship. He was convinced that the visit of H.E. Wanmuhadnoor Matha will further contribute to deepening the bilateral cooperation in all fields, including economy, trade, education, tourism, defence, security and so on. The Cambodian Premier also thanked the Thai government and relevant institutions for taking care of Cambodian workers in Thailand and for exempting the Re-entry Visa Fee for Cambodian workers who return to Thailand after the Khmer Traditional New Year holiday. Besides, Samdech Thipadei and H.E. Wanmuhadnoor Matha exchanged views on enhancing cooperation on regional and international issues to participate in building peace, stability, solidarity and prosperity in the region, and also discussed the cooperation on tightening cooperation on digital development, the fight against illicit drugs, cybercrime, transnational crime and online scams.
