Cambodia and the Republic of Korea (ROK) have discussed ways to additionally boost Korean investment in the Kingdom. The discussion took place between H.E. SUN Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice President of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), and H.E. Park Jung-Wook, Ambassador of ROK to Cambodia, at the CDC headquarters in Phnom Penh on April 10. On the occasion, the two sides exchanged views on a number of investment projects of Korean investors who had sought support and facilitation from both governments to review and provide technical advices for successful results. For his part, H.E. SUN Chanthol informed his guest about the progress of special economic zones (SEZs) in Cambodia, pointed out that the Kingdom has currently a total of 26 SEZs, 20 which have one-window service from relevant ministries and institutions to coordinate and directly deal with problems faced by investors.
