Cambodia and Indonesia are committed to strengthening their cooperation on vocational training to be more fruitful in 2024. In their meeting here this morning, Cambodian Minister of Labour and Vocational Training H.E. Heng Sour and H.E. Santo Darmosumarto, Ambassador of Indonesia to Cambodia, agreed to strengthen vocational training cooperation through scholarship provision and the possibility of exchanging technical trainees of the two countries. This will be an important mechanism to help promote people-to-people relation between the two countries, they underlined. H.E. Ambassador thanked the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training and the Royal Government of Cambodia for taking care of its citizens who are working and living in Cambodia without discrimination. For his part, H.E. Heng Sour stressed that as the host country and as a friend in the ASEAN region, Cambodia is committed to respecting the rights of the citizens and foreigners, including Indonesians. In this 7th legislature of National Asse mbly, the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training will continue its special attention to both foreign nationals in Cambodia and Cambodian citizens who go to work abroad, he said.
