The state audit agency said Friday that its secretary-general, Ryou Byeong-ho, has been appointed to its seven-member council of commissioners, the agency's highest decision-making body. Ryou succeeded Lim Chan-woo for a four-year term, the Board of Audit and Inspection (BAI) said in a press release. The council of commissioners comprises seven members, including the chairman. The commission's decision is made based on majority rule, and the approval of four members is needed for investigations to take place. In addition, the BAI announced that Choi Dal-young, a senior official within the organization, will assume the position of secretary-general. Source: Yonhap News Agency
