SEREMBAN, Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said that the current status of approved development projects (expenditure) for the first quarter (Q1) of this year is worth RM20.73 million, from the allocation of RM140 million this year. He said that the highest spending recorded was P50 (Menteri Besar) with an expenditure percentage of 50.35 per cent, followed by P55 (Public Works Department) at 15.95 per cent and P54 (Department of Irrigation and Drainage) at 3.87 per cent. Aminuddin said that of the total 418 projects, 77 projects or 18.42 per cent, are yet to commence. 'A total of 201 projects are in the pre-implementation phase (48.09 per cent); 129 projects in the implementation phase (30.86 per cent) and 11 projects have been completed (2.63 per cent),' he said during the oral question session of the state assembly sitting today.
