South Korea's Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Lee Young-su was set to embark on a 10-day trip to India, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday to discuss defense industry cooperation, the Air Force said. During the trip, Lee will meet with Indian Defense Secretary Giridhar Aramane; Turkey's Chief of General Staff Gen. Metin Gurak; and UAE Air Force Commander Nasser Mohammed Al Alawi to promote the excellence of South Korean-made aircraft, Lee's office said. He will also discuss ways to promote cooperation with each respective country in various fields, such as unmanned aircraft, the space industry and air defense, as well as exchanges of pilot personnel, it added.
