President Yoon Suk Yeol watched Netflix's Korean original action movie "Officer Black Belt" over the Chuseok holiday and recommended watching it to his aides, a presidential official said Sunday. The movie revolves around a temporary martial arts officer, played by Kim Woo-bin, and a probation officer, played by Kim Sung-kyun, who pair up to prevent crimes and protect citizens. Yoon said the movie "clearly shows" how the pair dedicate themselves to protecting citizens by monitoring electronic anklet-wearing criminals around the clock, according to the official. "It's a movie that reminds us of the public consciousness of the MZ generation and their dedication to the public interest," Yoon was quoted as saying, referring to millennials and Gen Z. "I hope the young generations will watch such movies, which portray how people pursue the public interest and dedicate themselves." Source: Yonhap News Agency
