SEOUL, President Yoon Suk Yeol appointed former senior prosecutor Park Sung-jae as the new justice minister Tuesday, his office said. Park's appointment came after the National Assembly adopted a report on his confirmation hearing, filling a vacancy left by the resignation of then Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon in December. Prior to his appointment, the new minister worked as a lawyer and before that as a prosecutor, including as chief of the Seoul High Prosecutors Office. Source: Yonhap News Agency
