PUTRAJAYA, Yayasan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia (YADIM) needs to multiply efforts to spread values of compassion and love in its da'wah activities, says Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Dr Mohd Na'im Mokhtar. He said that community activities and cross-religious and cultural programmes should continue to foster harmony in society based on MADANI values. Mohd Na'im added that YADIM had been appointed to lead the National Da'wah Programme throughout this month and September, in collaboration with agencies in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs). "I am confident that the National Da'wah Programme will invigorate the da'wah arena in our country. "This is part of YADIM's efforts as a spokesperson at the grassroots level, particularly in providing understanding of the agenda to Build a MADANI Malaysia, and certainly, the programmes organised will be engaging, interactive, and appealing to the younger generation," he said. He made the remarks while speaking at th e finale of the 'Akademi Daie Muda YADIM' (ADMY) programme and the launch of the National Da'wah Programme here, today. The National Da'wah Programme aims to make da'wah a cultural norm to inculcate good values and highlight the beauty of Islam. It also seeks to create awareness among the Muslim community on the importance of living according to Islamic principles, while taking into account the principle of 'Hubbul Watan' (love for the country).
