KUALA LUMPUR: Penang FC had to settle for splitting points with Terengganu FC in a 0-0 draw at City Stadium in George Town, Penang tonight after their goal was disallowed by the Virtual Assistant Referee (VAR) system. The home team did well to control much of the gameplay in the first half, but failed to score, and Terengganu FC midfielder Manual Gelito Ott did find the back of the net in the 38th minute but his attempt was ruled offside. In the second half, Mohammad Nabil Ahmad Latpi's effort in the 68th minute ended up being disallowed by the referee after a review of the VAR, while Penang FC's last ditch attempt to win the game in the final minute failed, and they had to settle for a draw. Meanwhile, there was another draw in the other Super League match tonight, as Kuching City FC held Sri Pahang to a 2-2 result in the State Stadium, Kuching. Kuching City's both goals came in the first half, with Tchetche Hermann Brice Kipre scoring in the 18th minute and Jordan Mintah in the 45th, while Sri Pahang st ruck back in the second half through Adam Nor Azlin in the 63rd minute and finally Manuel Federico Hidalgo Gasparini's strike in the 77th minute.
