KUALA LUMPUR, Teams from the Sungai Buloh Parliamentary Constituency Service Centre have been instructed to assess the flood situation in the area and cooperate with authorities to assist the victims. Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Datuk Seri R. Ramanan, who is also Sungai Buloh MP, said this is to ensure that in situations like this, all assistance can be provided with the cooperation of all parties. "I also visited the temporary relief centre (PPS) at Dewan Seri Pagi Paya Jaras to meet the victims and deliver the necessary aid. "We will ensure their welfare is well taken care of. I understand how they feel," he said in a Facebook post today. He added that so far, one PPS has been opened at Dewan Seri Pagi Paya Jaras, housing nearly 90 victims from Kampung Kubu Gajah. "I have also instructed the Sungai Buloh Parliamentary Constituency Service Centre to provide the necessary assistance to the flood victims. We will ensure their well-being is guaranteed. "To all residents, p rioritise your safety and that of your families, monitor young children, the elderly and people with disabilities," he said, adding that teams are always on the ground to provide assistance to those in need.
