Stories of CPC’s Thematic Brief Shares Chinese Practices of New Era Development to the World

Chongqing: The International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), together with the CPC Chongqing Committee and the Working Committee of Chongqing New Area, held a thematic briefing on 'Stories of CPC- Chongqing's Achievements in Practicing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era'.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the event's theme was "striving to write a Chongqing chapter of Chinese modernization." It attracted over 200 political party leaders from more than 50 countries, including foreign envoys and representatives from foreign business communities in China.

Yuan Jiajun, a Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee, highlighted the progress made since the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012. He emphasized the CPC's commitment to strengthening experience exchanges with political parties globally, focusing on urban development and modernization.

The event saw participation from a Cambodian delegation led by H.E. Dr. Chheng Kimlong, Vice Chairman of the Commission for External Relations of the Cambodian People's Party Central Committee, and H.E. Van Vithyea, Consul General of Cambodia in Chongqing.

Foreign guests noted the significant achievements of Chongqing New Area's development. H.E. Dr. Chheng Kimlong praised China's achievements under the CPC in building a moderately prosperous society and expressed optimism about China's journey toward its second centenary goal of a modern socialist country.

Dr. Chheng Kimlong added that Chongqing impressed him with its natural beauty, rich history, culture, and development progress, highlighting the friendly and hospitable nature of its people.
