Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, this afternoon expressed thanks to the media for their contribution to his decision making during his first five months of office. The Premier said some interventions and decisions have been put in action based on the information that he had received from the media. At the same time, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet encouraged all authorities at all levels to further pay attention to social monitoring through media based on their respective responsibilities. Moreover, he urged all media practitioners and media outlets to enhance and respect the journalism ethics. In Cambodia, there are currently some 10,000 journalists, of them 4,000 have registered, 933 online TVs and websites, 447 newspapers, 52 journalism associations, 194 magazines, 21 bulletins, 113 printing houses, 27 foreign news agencies and representative offices, 283 FM radio stations, and 19 TV channels.
