Samdech Techo Medical Team Delivers Free Healthcare Services in Siem Pang

Siem Pang: Samdech Techo Medical Team, under the leadership of Lok Chumteav Hun Mana, Director-General of Bayon Radio and Television, provided complimentary medical examinations and treatment to 2,249 individuals, including military personnel, their families, and local residents in Siem Pang district, Stung Treng province.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the humanitarian operation was conducted at the headquarters of Intervention Brigade 128's Battalion 283, a key military base in the province. Lok Chumteav Hun Mana distributed essential supplies such as wheelchairs, care packages for the elderly, school materials, and snacks for children during the outreach.

The donations were sponsored by notable figures including Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross, Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, and Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet. The aid was aimed at vulnerable groups like low-income households, individuals with disabilities, elderly citizens, and students.

In her speech, Lok Chumteav Hun Mana praised the military personnel for their 'unwavering dedication and sacrifice in safeguarding national interests,' and acknowledged the efforts of Intervention Brigade 128's officers and soldiers. She highlighted the dual impact of the mission in addressing urgent healthcare needs and boosting morale among frontline defenders and their communities.

The event highlighted the ongoing commitment of the Samdech Techo Medical Team to bridge healthcare gaps in remote regions, aligning with national efforts to prioritize the welfare of both military and civilian populations.
