- The South Korean stock markets will be closed Oct. 1 as part of a temporary holiday, the bourse operator said Tuesday. The financial markets, including the main Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) and the secondary tech-heavy KOSDAQ, as well as the ETF, the derivatives markets and commodity markets, such as petroleum and gold, will be closed Oct. 1, according to the Korea Exchange.
