SEREMBAN, Three women, believed to have been involved in a child exploitation case and were arrested in Nilai and Seremban in Negeri Sembilan, have had their remand order extended till Sept 22. State police chief Datuk Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof said another woman who was detained in Nilai was released on police bail after her remand ended today. "Today, police applied to extend the remand on an individual (arrested in Nilai) at the Seremban Sessions Court in order to continue with investigations into the case. Another woman was not remanded on bail because she is pregnant," he told Bernama here today. He said two women who were arrested in Seremban also had their remand extended to Sept 22 after their remand period ended on Sept 14. Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain was previously reported to have said that police rescued 402 children, aged between one year and 17 years, who were believed to have been exploited in Negeri Sembilan and Selangor. A total of 171 individuals were arrested i n Op Global, and these included 105 women, aged between 17 and 64.
