Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet has called for unity in the organisation of traditional and religious ceremonies. Speaking at a get-together with some 1,000 Achars and Acharinis (laymen and laywomen) in Phnom Penh this morning, Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister encouraged the preparation for a common standard of traditional ceremonies and rituals with clear arguments and unity. 'We should preserve our culture and rituals, with clear arguments and, the most important are unity and national identity,' he underlined. Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet also appealed to all laymen and laywomen to help educate the younger generation on morality and to stay away from illicit drugs and other acts that negatively affect security and social order.
