SEOUL, Prime Minister Han Duck-soo tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, his office said. Han was diagnosed with the virus two days after returning home from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, his office added. Han has canceled his official commitments for the coming week, including a Cabinet meeting scheduled for Tuesday. In Han's stead, Choi Sang-mok, finance minister and deputy prime minister for economic affairs, is expected to chair the Cabinet meeting. For the next week or so, Han will oversee day-to-day operations from his residence via telecommunication. A government official said it hadn't been determined whether Han's absence will force a rescheduling of the Cabinet meeting or a change of the agenda. Source: Yonhap News Agency
