KUALA LUMPUR, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today received a courtesy call from Public Service Commission (SPA) chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Jailani Muhamed Yunus. In a post on Facebook, Anwar said that among the issues discussed during the meeting were efforts towards the continuous improvement of SPA in carrying out its functions in accordance with Article 144 (1) of the Federal Constitution. The Prime Minister said he was also informed that the SPA will enhance its talent identification programme by partnering with the Public Service Department (JPA) and Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara) to get the best individuals to serve in the public service. 'This includes expanding the SPA community service programme to all corners of the country to provide information on career opportunities in public service, especially in areas with limited internet access,' according to the post.
