KUALA LUMPUR, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today extended condolences to the family of PKR women's movement leader Norol Ashikin Mahammud, who passed away this morning. In a Facebook post, the PKR president said Norol Ashikin was one of the key figures in the women's movement in Shah Alam, adding that her death has left a profound impact on women and party members. 'Condolences to the family of Almarhumah Norol Ashikin Mahammud on the loss of their beloved. 'I pray that she is granted a special place by Him and that her family is given the strength and resilience in facing this trial from the Almighty,' he said. Meanwhile, Selangor PKR vice chairman Datuk Borhan Aman Shah told Bernama that the 67-year-old reformist and the former committee member of Shah Alam Wanita PKR died due to heart complications and was laid to rest at the Muslim Cemetery in Section 21, Shah Alam.
