KUCHING, Penang and Selangor delivered impressive performances to claim victory in the men's and women's bowling events at the 2024 Malaysia Games (SUKMA) here today. In men's action at Megalanes Sarawak, Penang, represented by Muhammad Hariz Adlan Azman, Megat Zaqrul Haiqal Megat Zairudin, Muhammad Adam Darwish Dzulhakimy, Mohammad Zuhair Zailani and Muhammad Hafiz Darwisy Azhlan downed 5,915 pins to take home the gold. Johor secured the silver with 5,907 pinfalls, while the host team took home the bronze medal after downing 5,828 pins. In the women's category, Selangor, represented by Intan Nor Edryana Nor Azliman, Adania Mohd Redzwan, Adelia Nur Irwan Syazalee, Nur Nais Falilnesa Isman and Nur Irdina Batrisyia Mat Aris took the gold after posting a total of 5,598 pinfalls.
