Outgoing Malaysian Ambassador Bids DPM SOK Chenda Sophea Farewell

Deputy Prime Minister H.E. SOK Chenda Sophea, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received here on April 11 outgoing Malaysian Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Datuk Eldeen Husaini MOHD HASHIM.

According to a news release of the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, during the farewell meeting, the Cambodian DPM congratulated H.E. Datuk Eldeen Husaini MOHD HASHIM for the completion of his successful diplomatic tenure in the Kingdom and his new portfolio as the Ambassador of Malaysia to the French Republic.

H.E. SOK Chenda Sophea expressed his deep appreciation for H.E. Ambassador’s dedication and active cooperation in strengthening bilateral relations and promoting close cooperation between Cambodia and Malaysia since starting his ambassadorship in 2019, especially his significant contribution to the success of Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister HUN Manet’s recent official visit to Malaysia in February. The Cambodian top diplomat assured the ambassador that his successor will receive a wholehearted support and cooperation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
