The groups specialise in Governance, Digital, and Environment, according to the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Cambodia Office. The group focusing on Strengthening Digital Capacity will be stationed in Kandal and Kampong Cham province, while the Environmental Protection group will be engaged in activities in Phnom Penh capital, and the provinces of Takeo and Kampong Speu. The Governance Improvement group will concentrate their efforts in Preah Sihanouk province, the same source pointed out. They are here to contribute to human capital development and foster cultural exchange between Cambodia and Korea, underlined KOICA Cambodia Office. Since 2003, KOICA has dispatched professional Korean volunteers to Cambodia to share their expertise, knowledge and experiences in order to improve the quality of life of the country and strengthen partnership and mutual understanding.
