N.SEMBILAN RAHMAH SALES RECORD RM4.5 MLN AS OF APRIL

SEREMBAN, The Rahmah Sales programme in Negeri Sembilan has recorded RM4.5 million in sales from January until April 7, the State Legislative Assembly sitting was told today.

State Entrepreneurship, Human Resource, Climate Change, Cooperatives and Consumerism Committee chairman S. Veerapan said it involved the implementation of 121 in-premises, nine open/premium and 26 mobile set-ups across all 36 constituencies.

‘More than RM1.6 million has been allocated for Rahmah Sales subsidies, benefiting over 130,000 people in the state.

‘The state Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry, in cooperation with strategic partners, is open to any suggestions to diversify sales items to meet the demands and needs of the local community at each location,’ he said.

He said this in response to a question from Suhaimizan Bizar (BN-Gemencheh), who wanted to know about the Rahmah Sales programme in Negeri Sembilan.

Veerapan (PH-Repah) said that last year, almost RM2 million was spent on Rahmah Sales subsidies benefiting
over 600,000 residents, with sales reaching RM10.8 million.
