SHAH ALAM, The 2024 Minggu Saham Amanah Malaysia (MSAM) event held at the Setia City Convention Centre (SCCC), attracted over 100,000 visitors during its four-day run starting August 22. Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) group chairman Raja Tan Sri Arshad Raja Tun Uda said the event drew attendees, not just from Shah Alam but from across Malaysia, including Penang and Johor. He viewed this as a positive sign of PNB's efforts to educate more young people about investment through the carnival. 'We at PNB are grateful that this year's event has captured the interest of people from various backgrounds. It's especially encouraging since this is the first time the carnival has been hosted in Selangor,' he said in a statement. With the theme "Uplift Your Life at MSAM," Raja Arshad expressed hope that visitors would leave with valuable insights and experiences. MSAM 2024, which commenced on Thursday, concluded today with a closing ceremony officiated by Selangor Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari. Now in its 23rd year, the carnival is part of PNB's commitment to its unit holders, focusing on social investments in education, community enhancement, financial literacy and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
