PUTRAJAYA, The Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture (MOTAC) will host the Putrajaya Cultural Festival 2024, themed 'Unity Through Arts and Culture,' over three days starting this Friday. In a statement today, MOTAC announced that the festival will feature a wide array of arts, cultural heritage, and tourism-related activities, taking place at Dataran Putrajaya from 9 am to 11 pm daily. The main highlight, Malam Gala Warna Warni MADANI will be officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at 8 pm on Saturday. Visitors can look forward to craft sales, cultural performances, a free theatre show titled 'Cinta Ahmad Mutawakkil' and a culinary tour of Putrajaya. Organised in collaboration with the Putrajaya Corporation, the festival aims to promote unity among Malaysia's diverse communities and showcase the nation's rich arts and cultural heritage to local and international tourists. "This annual event continues under the Prime Minister's recommendation, with the potential to attract foreign tourist s," read the statement.
