KUALA LUMPUR, The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) hosted the annual Girls in ICT Forum 2024 at M Resort and Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The event, officiated by YB Teo Nie Ching, Deputy Minister of Communications, attracted an audience of 300 participants, including industry leaders, guests and university students. With the theme "Leadership," this year's Forum highlighted women's achievements in ICT, encouraging careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). YB Teo Nie Ching's opening address emphasised the importance of equipping young women with skills for a technology-driven economy and cultivating an empowering environment to overcome gender barriers.
