SEOUL, Lotte Chemical Corp. on Wednesday reported its fourth-quarter net loss of 415.8 billion won (US$313.1 million), remaining in the red compared with a year ago. The company said in a regulatory filing that it continued to post an operating loss of 301.3 billion won for the October-December period, compared with a loss of 400 billion won a year earlier. Revenue fell 10.7 percent to 4.9 trillion won. The loss was 227.4 percent higher than the average estimate, according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
