KUALA LUMPUR, Thunderstorms with heavy rain and strong winds for a longer period are expected in the northern states of the peninsula, including the waters of the states concerned.
Based on the significant weather forecast issued by the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) this afternoon, the situation follows the concentration of wind that is expected to occur in the northern area of the Straits of Melaka.
The forecast is based on weather model analyses, where a weak monsoon is expected to last until Nov 30.
